Starting Over

Here I go again on my own, going down the only road I've ever known. Like a drifter I was born to walk alone.

I seem to be very good at beginnings. Here's another one. I saw a friend using Marmite and so I decided to give it a go as well.

I've tried to blog about Rust at least 3 times since doubling down on the language. The effort has taken many forms, namely on Medium as well as at least two attempts on my own publishing platform, built from scratch. Nothing has "stuck". So here I go again, with Marmite.

I'll be putting up old content over the month of January, before resuming new things. I'm not going to worry about preserving the old dates, old content will be treated as "fresh", with perhaps some AI sauce as an editor.

For now, I don't have a comments section. The one and only goal for early 2026 is to get a writing habit off the ground. I typically haven't associated writing with "learning".

This is where I begin to change that view.
